Amaco Wheat Paste Powder

An easy to use modeling medium that mixes with cold water to form paste that is great for papier mache and paper arts and craft projects. Simply mix the powder with cold water according to package instructions, adding slowly while stirring with a whisk, spatula or eggbeater. Dip cut-up newspaper strips into the paste and apply to a form of cardboard, wood, plastic, wire or most rigid materials. When dry, the paste is transparent. It can be decorated with acrylic or oil paints and most decorative mediums. The 8 oz. jar yields approximately 7 pints of paste and the 3 lb. box yields approximately 5 gallons of paste. Unused paste can be stored in a sealed container for up to a week.
